Specialist positioning & development of new markets

At the beginning of our cooperation with Loryma GmbH there was a clear goal: the company wanted to position itself as the specialist for the processing and refinement of wheat in the food industry. In addition, new sales opportunities should be opened up in the constantly growing market for vegan and vegetarian products. As part of the repositioning of Loryma GmbH, we first identified the most promising market segments. In addition, the product groups have been completely restructured. A special focus was placed on the vegan and vegetarian diet. Because this segment offers by far the greatest growth and future opportunities for Loryma GmbH.

The trade fair strategy

The exotic at Germany’s largest meat fair

How about taking completely new paths and exhibiting and tasting vegan and vegetarian products at Germany’s largest meat fair? We discussed this idea intensively with those responsible for Loryma GmbH. Finally, they gave us their trust and we created a trade fair concept to present the new division “LORYMA is consciousness” at the IFFA in Frankfurt.

The result

All expectations were exceeded

The IFFA in Frankfurt was a complete success. The trade fair appearance aroused great interest in vegan and vegetarian products. For example, one of the best-known German sausage and meat manufacturers became aware of Loryma GmbH. Just a few months after the fair, he brought the first vegetarian sausage to the market together with Loryma GmbH. Meanwhile, the manufacturer makes 40% of its sales with vegetarian and vegan products from Loryma. Loryma GmbH was also able to score with our concept at other national and international trade fairs. Particularly noteworthy here are the exceptionally good stand utilization and the high number of visitors. 84% of the stand visitors corresponded to the targeted core target group, so that Loryma GmbH was able to take home many new orders from the fairs. In addition, the regrouping of the product groups ensured a positive response and increased sales.
