Development of a completely new stand concept
MONOFLO GmbH is a specialist in the manufacture and distribution of automatic drinking systems for livestock farming. The products are manufactured by partner companies in Turkey, Bulgaria, China and the USA. Since all products in the MONOFLO range have small dimensions, the overseas containers from China are often half empty. These capacities should be used much better. In order to achieve this goal, new customers were to be won at the HMI 2018 in Hanover for the production of individual metal parts in the Chinese partner plant of MONOFLO GmbH.
The strategy
Positioning as a service provider
Until now, MONOFLO GmbH had only presented products at trade fairs. Now, in addition to the products, the services and their customer benefits have also been brought into focus. Whether cheap production in China, reliable import of products to Germany or nationwide international distribution: In an intensive analysis workshop, we worked out the advantages of the service offer together with MONOFLO GmbH. These advantages were at the heart of our trade fair concept for HMI 2018.
The result
Many new customers and a better utilization of import capacities
Due to the trade fair appearance, MONOFLO GmbH was now also seen as a service provider that gives customers access to affordable production options for individual metal parts in China. In this way, new customers for the service offerings could already be won at the trade fair. At the same time, this also improved the utilization of import capacities. Ultimately, MONOFLO GmbH was able to benefit from our trade fair concept and the repositioning as a service provider in several respects.
